Students Blogs- Examples of Very Good On-Going Planning

What all of these blogs have in common is a clear attempt made by the candidate's to keep a running log of their ideas and group production decisions. This is an ideal way to pick up vital planning marks as it provides us and the  examiner with evidence of your individual input at this vital stage. 

Secondly, in your final exams you will be expected to discuss in full all stages of  as carried out by your group/yourself, keeping an up to-date blog diary, is invaluable.

Please use the content the blogs below to inspire you as to those specific planning tasks that must be undertake. If you are working as part of a group, dividing  the varying planning task between you is a good way forward. Each member of the group must make sure that any planning undertaken is presented/ embedded on their blog in a manner which makes it easy for all group members to transfer a copy onto their own blog.

To secure full marks for planning your blog must show evidence of the drafting and planning of ideas for all 3 media products- 

1. music video
2. digipak
3. advert or webpage 

Evidence of planning is your way of sharing with the examiner physical evidence of the efforts you and your group has made to trying to produce a well constructed music video, digipak and promotional magazine advert. Make sure your  blog shows evidence of story-boarding, script writing, possible locations, timetables and initial sketches and redrafting of ideas etc. Remember the more quality evidence of planning you provide- the more marks you're likely to be rewarded!!!
